Clip is dead-on perfect says the Boston Globe. Agree. Thank you TNT. You reminded me how much I loved basketball, something I miss by living in the UK.
This is just so beautiful. I'm not a complete enough fan to recognize everyone but was tearing up at the concept alone (and Larry Bird memories).
ps: Thank you Internets, as I wouldn't have seen this without YouTube. #StopSOPA
This was horrifying to watch. But the creativity around the meme is facinating. Tumblrs here and here. Even Martha got in the act. My contribution symbolizes that this is a message to America but ultimately our country is bigger than any rogue individual. (Fwiw, I really feel sorry for all the brave and honorable cops who are tainted by this jerk.)
Advertisers call it behavioral targeting. Frankly I am in the business and I still hate it. Dare to look at a page on the John Lewis site and you'll be stalked by ads scrolling through the very products you just looked at. Creepy.
By the way John Lewis, I already bought a rug at Bentalls. On sale. Was just comparing your higher prices. So STOP the stalking.
Of course it is for Google itself. Google+ is Google now. (Or visa versa.) I love it. And of course all those smart engineers know that people actually search for Facebook via Google, etc, rather than typing the url in the browser. So they'll all see the nice big blue arrow.
Have lived in London for over five years and never took a bus. Now having moved, I am on them all the time. So am loving this cute map. Very helpful. Thank you Internet.
